Archetype Cadet Unleashes Free Fragging FPS Fun

Free New Version of Highly-rated Online FPS for iPhone and iPad from Villain Delivers Streamlined Team Deathmatch Action with No Strings Attached

Cary, NC - April 21, 2011: Villain(tm), an independent publisher of fiendishly entertaining portable game titles, announced today the release Archetype Cadet(tm) and Archetype Cadet HD, free new versions of Archetype, its top-selling and critically acclaimed online first-person shooter game for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Archetype Cadet gives players a free training ground to experience the best, most intense online FPS action from the world of Archetype. Both versions of Archetype Cadet are now available as a free download in the iTunes App Store, and a free new 1.5.1 update of the core Archetype game with gameplay updates is also available from iTunes.

The game offers fast, free servings of online deathmatch play. Players are assigned a numeric Cadet CombatTag rather than a custom Archetype Tag, and cannot earn Ranks, EXP, Medals, or Achievements as they can in Archetype. There are no ads during gameplay, but Cadet does have ads in game menus.

Both Archetype Cadet for iPhone and iPod touch and Archetype Cadet HD for iPad include the following features:

* Intense online team deathmatch play with up to 10 players per match
* Two hard-hitting levels: Invidia and Pride Rocket Arena
* Access to 5 Archetype weapons from rifle to shotgun to rocket launcher
* Melee combat and two types of grenades
* Radar for tracking enemies and teammates throughout the match
